Guidelines for
print data & delivery

To enable us to process your print orders quickly, reliably, and to the highest quality standards, we ask that you carefully observe our guidelines for digital printing and delivery conditions.
This is the only way we can guarantee a smooth process, accurate color results, and on-time deliveries.

Printing guidelines for digital printing

We are also happy to offer you high-quality prints for our systems.
Please note that we can only process printable data according to our data sheet.
If conversions or adjustments are necessary, delays may occur.
These additional services will be charged according to the effort involved.

Data transfer
  • Small data volumes (up to 5 MB): by e-mail to the responsible project manager
  • Large data volumes: via file sharing tools such as WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.

We can process the following programs and file formats:

  • PDF (recommended: PDF/X-3 or PDF/X-4 standard)
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Scale: 1:1
  • Trim: 10–50 mm per side (please ask the clerk)
  • Trim marks: place outside the bleed
  • Please convert texts to paths
  • Alternatively: Send non-standard fonts (e.g. not Helvetica, Futura, Arial etc.) as a ZIP file
  • Color space: CMYK (image mode = CMYK, resolution 300 dpi)
  • RGB data: must be converted in advance
  • Spot colors: can only be simulated – deviations are possible

Procedure for spot colors:

  1. Select the desired color from HKS or Pantone fan
  2. Determine the corresponding CMYK Euroscale definition
  3. Create CMYK values according to Euroscale
  4. Additionally mark the spot color in the document

Note:
Please create black elements (texts, lines, areas) with the following composition:
100% K, 60% C, 40% M, 40% Y

If you are unable to create your data print-ready, we will be happy to take over the preparation.
After viewing your files, you will receive a calculation for the additional effort.

Reprint & archiving

  • Please inform us in advance if a reprint is to be made of an earlier production.
  • Data that is older than 3 months will be automatically deleted and must be delivered again.

We assume no liability for the content of the data supplied.
Questions of copyright must be clarified by the client before placing the order.

Registration of deliveries

Please inform us in good time about the arrival of your delivery from 10 pallets.
The registration should take place at least 3 working days before the planned delivery date to:

A registration does not automatically count as confirmation of the appointment.
If the appointment is not suitable, we will suggest a new one within three working days.

Only with prior registration and compliance with the stated conditions can we guarantee prompt unloading.

  • If the delivery conditions are not observed, timely unloading cannot be guaranteed.

  • Any additional costs incurred due to non-compliance will not be covered.
